The Reed Bunting is a common bird in Denmark, although most people rarely see it, as it mainly stays in reed beds near lakes and streams.
The Reed Bunting is found in large numbers in reed beds along coasts and larger lakes. Most are only in Denmark during the summer period from May to September, while they stay in warmer climates during the winter period.
Although it stays somewhat hidden, it is not particularly shy, and there is a good chance of seeing it if you visit wetlands with large amounts of reed beds.
